BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Whatcom County Health Department has announced a coronavirus vaccine town hall meeting as the rate of new infections moderates locally.
The virtual event this Thursday at 5:30 is billed as part of an ongoing effort to keep locals informed of COVID-19 vaccination efforts, plans, and progress.
Attendees may submit questions in advance at the county’s web site.
This as the state health department reports a nearly 20% reduction in the number of first time positive virus tests over the 7 days ending Friday.
Those 7-day counts dropped from 397 to 319 week to week.
Meantime, the state reports North Region ICU availability is holding up, at 42% of spaces available as of the most recent report on the state health department reopening dashboard.
