OLYMPIA, Wash. — Health insurance plans proposed for Washington’s individual market in 2019 show an average rate increase of nineteen percent.
Insurance Commissioner Mike Kriedler says that’s lower than earlier estimates, but that any increase is hard on consumers.
The open enrollment period for the state’s insurance exchange starts November 1st.
