BELLINGHAM, Wash. – With summer arriving in Whatcom, plenty of people will be out having fun in the sun, but some caution could still be needed.
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for those of us in northwest Washington in effect through 11 p.m. Monday, June 27th.
They want to remind residents to drink plenty of fluids and to check in on possible at-risk relatives or neighbors.
Heat stroke is a medical emergency and anyone experiencing symptoms is advised to call 9-1-1.
