Hertz Trail near Lake Whatcom Park is now closed due to a minor landslide.
The slide hit close to the .5 mile marker of the trail.
Crews are now looking at the damage and clean up will begin within coming days.
Bellingham’s Parks and Recreation Department recommends hikers to not attempt crossing or climbing on the debris.
