SEATTLE, Wash. — Rain-soaked hillsides are collapsing into homes on Whidbey Island.
KIRO reports a massive mudslide began days before Christmas due to heavy rain and continues to move into waterfront homes in Clinton that had already been battered by high coastal floodwaters.
The slide has reportedly brought down trees, boulders, and steel culverts since it first began.
