SEATTLE, Wash. — A popular Seattle drive in burger joint may be headed north.
Dick’s Drive-In will hit the road this fall with its own food truck and the restaurant is asking community members to vote on where they want it to go.
Bellingham, Mount Vernon and Burlington are all possibilities.
The drive-in first opened in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood in 1954 when burgers cost 19 cents, shakes 21 cents, and fries 11 cents.
