BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Home sales are soaring in northern Whatcom County.
Meanwhile, home sales in Bellingham are slowing way down.
Troy Muljat of Muljat Group Realtors prepared a third quarter report showing the median sales price, number of units sold and average days on the market for Whatcom County as a whole as well as individual communities.
Compared to the third quarter of 2018, home sales are up in Birch Bay, Blaine and Lynden.
The number of homes sold in Bellingham is down more than 16% from last year.
