BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police arrested a homeless man following reports he brandished a gun and threatened to shoot another homeless person Sunday night.
Officers arrested 58 year old Michael Steffens near the train station in Fairhaven on a felony harrassment charge and a weapons violation.
A police spokesperson says he and the person he threatened know each other and live in their vehicles.
Steffens is accused of brandishing a gun at a vehicle window and threatening to kill the other person.
Officers found a long-barreled BB gun in Steffens’ car.
