LYNDEN, Wash. — A windstorm on Saturday brought down power lines and caused a fire that burned down three Lynden homes.
KOMO reports the houses on Noon and Pole Road were destroyed early in the morning when the downed power lines caught one house on fire and the strong winds quickly spread the fire to the other homes.
Residents in the homes escaped the fires, but are now looking for places to stay.
Some areas in the county had winds gusting around 60 MPH over the weekend.
