BELLINGHAM, Wash. — HomesNOW has announced that their tiny home community on McKenzie Avenue in Bellingham will be expanding soon.
On its Facebook page, HomesNow said the City of Bellingham will soon be dropping off building supplies to construct two new tiny homes at Unity Village, bringing the total to 22 homes.
HomesNOW built the tiny homes to provide a safe place for homeless people to live and keep their belongings while they look for permanent housing.
Unity Village provides access to basic necessities, such as bathrooms, showers, drinking water and garbage service.
HomeNOW will need volunteers with construction experience to help build the structures soon.
