BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The hot weather forecast prompted the state and federal governments to enact burn bans starting Friday.
They apply to all outdoor burning including camp fires in all state and national forests and parks in and around Whatcom County.
Gas and propane fires and grills are OK, but not charcoal grills.
