The House approved a bill sponsored by 42nd Distract Rep. Vincent Buys of Lynden, that could help food trucks in Washington.
House Bill 2639 would allow food trucks to prepare their meals onsite as long as they continue to meet health and safety requirements.
Previously food truck meals could only be prepared in commissary kitchens.
The bill now moves to the Senate for further evaluation.
