BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Hundreds of local residents took advantage of free drive-thru coronavirus testing at Civic Field on Friday and Saturday.
Whatcom Unified Command reports 411 people were tested on Friday and 399 on Saturday.
That averages out to more than a test a minute during the six hours of operation each day.
Results should be available early to midweek.
The Command will hold a debriefing meeting on Tuesday before deciding on whether to conduct more testing.
