BURLINGTON, Wash – An 86 year old Bellingham man is dead after a crash on I-5 at mile post 236, five miles north of Burlington Friday afternoon.
The Washington State Patrol says Norman Graham was heading south in his VW Jetta when he strayed into the center median and then crossed into northbound traffic, hitting a truck driven by Jayme Emery, 36, of Bellingham.
Graham was pronounced dead at the scene; Emery walked away uninjured.
Troopers say the accident is being investigated.
