DUPONT, Wash. – Traffic is moving again on southbound I-5 near DuPont after the last of the wreckage from Monday’s deadly Amtrak Cascades derailment was removed yesterday.
Two lanes were re-opened last night and a third lane should be open this morning.
The speed limit in the area has been reduced to 45 miles per hour for the safety of crews doing clean-up and repair work.
