SEATTLE, Wash. — A man convicted of molesting a child while living illegally in Skagit County has been deported.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers removed 46-year-old Ricardo Santiago-Silva to Mexico Tuesday.
Santiago-Silva was serving a 31-month sentence at the Washington Corrections Center when transferred to ICE custody in November.
An immigration judge ordered him removed on December 15th.
Santiago-Silva was removed via an ICE charter flight and transferred to the custody of Mexican authorities.
