The injuries suffered April 25th by pitcher Felix Hernandez and outfielder Mitch Haniger will be costly in games missed for the Seattle Mariners. Both are expected to be out three to four weeks following medical evaluations by Mariners Medical Director Dr. E. Edward Khalfayan.

Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced Friday that Hernandez was diagnosed with bursitis in his right shoulder. Haniger was diagnosed with a grade 2 strain of his right oblique muscle.

Hernandez and Hanniger were placed on the 10-day disabled list on April 26, just one day after both were injured in the Tigers 19-to-9 victory over the Mariners in Detroit.
