BELLINGHAM, Wash. — All tests are negative for a Whatcom County Jail inmate who claimed to be infected with the coronavirus.
The person made the claim during the pre-booking process on Tuesday, November 24th and two initial tests were negative.
Jail personnel administered another test on the 25th and that result came back negative on Friday.
The inmate had been kept in isolation and a sheriff’s spokesperson says the jail is prepared to deal with COVID or any other illness brought into the facility.
