OLYMPIA, Wash. — Governor Inslee has announced another pandemic restriction, this time on third party delivery fees.

His proclamation Thursday caps restaurant delivery fees at 15% and total fees at 18% of the purchase price of an order.

The order takes effect next Wednesday.

The cap applies to fees charged to restaurants by third-party delivery platforms, such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub, Postmates and others.

The prohibition applies until indoor dining is again permitted in affected counties, including Whatcom, at a capacity of at least 50%.
