Inslee comes to Skagit County to promote broadband plan

ANACORTES, Wash. — Governor Inslee will be in San Juan and Skagit County Tuesday to talk about his plan to reach statewide broadband connectivity.

Inslee recently signed a bill to establish the Statewide Broadband Office to assist communities in constructing and installing broadband services across the state.

Tuesday at 9:25 AM Inslee will visit with Peacehealth in Friday Harbor, followed by a 9:55 discussion at the Friday Harbor High School STEM Center.

Then the Governor visits Anacortes City Hall at 12:30 PM for a broadband discussion, finishing off with community meeting with SkagitNet at the Port of Skagit in Burlington.
