BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham man is allegedly responsible for a string of recent local robberies.
During a twenty-three day span this January and February, police records show a total of twelve robberies and attempted robberies committed in Bellingham.
Lieutenant Claudia Murphy of BPD reports convicted sex offender, 26-year-old Michael Dean James, is responsible for all of them.
The BPD first arrested James and two accomplices after they allegedly robbed the cannabis store 20/20 Solutions at knifepoint on February 7.
He’s now awaiting trial in the Whatcom County Jail.
