IRS launches tool to help track stimulus checks

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The IRS has launched an online tool to help you track your stimulus checks.

The new Get My Payment application launched by the IRS and the Treasury Department has features to let taxpayers check on their Economic Impact Payment date and update direct deposit information.

More than 80 million payments started hitting bank accounts over the weekend and the new tool will help the IRS get even more out sooner rather than later.

To use the tool, taxpayers can visit IRS.gov.
