Former Seahawks safety Kenny Easley will have his number retired by the Seattle franchise this weekend. The 2017 inductee to the Pro Football Hall of Fame will be honored as part of the a halftime ceremony during the Seahawks Sunday Night game against the Colts.

Easley’s number 45 jersey will be hung at CenturyLink Field joining the jersey’s of the Seahawks’ other three Hall of Fame players, Steve Largent, Cortez Kennedy and Walter Jones.

Easley played his entire career with the Seahawks  from 1981–to-1987. Nicknamed “The Enforcer”, the hard hitting strong safety went to 5 Pro Bowl’s, was named  First-team All-Pro 4 times won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award in 1984 and was named to the NFL 1980’s All-Decade Team
