SEATTLE, WASH. – Would-be KeyArena developers showed off their designs at an open house Thursday.

But arguably, more news was made by a man who wasn’t there.

Investor Chris Hansen released a statement saying, unlike the two KeyArena plans, his proposed SODO arena is asking for no public funding.

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray disputes that.

He says Hansen’s plan also asks for tax credits.

“All three of these projects are looking for public money,” Murray says.

City leaders say all three arena plans are still on the table.

They’ll decide which plan to support late next month.
