BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Kids head back to Bellingham schools Wednesday, but times are changing, literally.

Elementary students now start class at 8:00 and are done at 2:30, except for on Thursdays, when they’re out at 12:45.

Middle schools run from 9:15 to 3:45 with one Thursday early release a month.

High schoolers start their day at 8:30 and are released at 3:15.

Options High School students are in a brand new building and they get their own computers this year.

Kulshan Middle School and Squalicum High School students are also getting computers as part of the district’s one-to-one program, that will eventually provide devices to all students in grades three-through-12.
