BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man they say robbed two children at Alderwood Elementary School in Bellingham.

The kids say as they walked by a car in the school parking lot at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, a man with a gun jumped out.

They say he ordered them to put their cell phones on the ground and walk away.

They complied, then went home to tell their parents.

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Hispanic man in his early 20s.

They say he’s about 6 feet tall with full sleeve tattoos on both arms and slicked back hair that’s shaved on the sides.

The kids say he was with several other people in a black Lincoln Town Car with chrome trim and tinted windows.
