SEATTLE, Wash. – King County was approved for phase 2 of Governor Inslee’s “Safe Start” plan on Friday, June 18th
This came after the county began offering free or low-cost coronavirus testing and plans on distributing millions of face masks in the coming months.
Restaurants can now have 50% occupancy, and staffed indoor fitness studios can reopen with 5 participants or fewer.
KOMO News reports that as of June 18th, three counties remain in Phase 1, two counties are in a modified version of Phase 1, 19 counties are in Phase 2, and 15 counties are in Phase 3.
