King County cities rank as some of the most educated in America

SEATTLE, Wash. — Washington may not have the best education system, but it has one of the most educated cities.

In a recent WalletHub study, Washington was 18th in the quality of its school systems based on various metrics including quality and safety.

However, when comparing 150 of the largest metropolitan statistical areas, or MSAs, the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue area was the 9th most educated.

It also did well for the quality of its universities.

Ann Arbor, Michigan is far and away the most educated MSA, even though the state’s school system ranking put them at 31.
