BELLINGHAM, Wash. — You can get a good deal on gear for fun in the snow and help out a great organization at the same time this weekend.
The annual Komo Kulshan Ski Club Ski Swap is today (Friday) and tomorrow in the gym at Bloedel Donovan Park.
The ski swap helps fund the Mount Baker Ski Team and the club’s scholarship fund.
The ski team competes in alpine races around the northwest and its scholarships provide lessons, lift tickets, equipment and transportation for deserving young people.
The Ski Swap is open today from 4 to 9:30 p.m., with early bird sales for a fee at 3 p.m.
It’s open tomorrow from 9 AM to 2 PM.
