BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The parent company of Fred Meyer stores has imposed purchase limits on certain items as panic buying picks up again.
Kroger has started limiting purchases on certain products at its stores, including items like toilet paper, paper towel, disinfecting wipes and more.
Many items are now limited to two per customer.
A company spokesperson told Fox Business the measures were taken proactively and apply to both in-store and online purchases.
Kroger operates two Fred Meyer stores in Bellingham and one in Burlington.
