BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Kulshan Community Land Trust announced that they received two Washington State Housing Trust Fund grants from the Washington State Department of Commerce totaling more than $500,000 to support local affordable housing projects.
One of the grants will go to Kulshan CLT’s “scattered-site” acquisition program to build seven new affordable homes scattered throughout existing neighborhoods in Whatcom County.
The other grant will support the development of the first eight units of the Telegraph Townhomes Project where homes will be priced for residents who earn 30-80% of the county’s median income.
