LEAVENWORTH, Wash. — The Christmas Lighting Festival in Leavenworth has been postponed this year.

The annual event draws thousands to the Bavarian Village in central Washington each year.

Event organizers decided to postpone the 2020 event in order to maximize the safety of residents and visitors amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But they ensure that they will still have over half a million Christmas lights around town beginning on Thanksgiving and continuing through Valentine’s Day.

They will even have a virtual viewing experience so everyone can enjoy the holiday magic.
