OLYMPIA, Wash. – The state has issued new masking and distancing guidance for businesses.
The Department of Labor and Industries says fully vaccinated workers no longer have to wear masks or socially distance.
But businesses must confirm that their workers have been vaccinated and be able to verify that.
They must maintain masking and distancing if an employee’s status is uncertain.
Employers are still free to require masks if they choose to.
Masking rules remain in place for health care facilities, child or daycare centers and public transit.
