BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Lighthouse Mission Ministries is moving its Drop-In Center to the Bellingham High School campus Friday.
Whatcom Unified Command, which is handling the local response to the coronavirus outbreak, says the temporary move will allow for social distancing among the people in need.
They will be housed in the commons area and the gym.
Anne Deacon with the Whatcom County Health Department says, “This not only benefits vulnerable individuals, but protects the health of the entire community.”
