BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A local movie theater will not reopen when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
The Pickford Film Center announced that it will close its Limelight Cinema, located near Pure Bliss Desserts on Cornwall Avenue in downtown Bellingham.
Susie Purves, Executive Director at the Pickford, says the storefront cinema is too small to work as a movie theater in a post-pandemic world.
The PFC flagship on Bay Street is ready and waiting for the go-ahead to reopen.
