BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A local after-school program has become an all-day adventure for children of essential workers during the COVID-19 crisis.

The Firs After School Adventure, located in the Geneva area of Bellingham, provides an all-day emergency care for children ages 3 through 12.

The program runs from 7 AM to 6 PM on weekdays with breakfast and lunch provided.

Staff follow the strict guidelines established by the CDC and Whatcom County Health Department to protect the health of the children and caregivers alike.
