The number of local hospitalizations for COVID is increasing again.
The state health department reports 10 *new* admissions for the virus among county residents for the week ending Monday.
The Bellingham Herald put the total number of COVID patients at St. Joseph’s in Bellingham at 20 on Monday, the highest it’s been since February.
Chief medical officer Dr. Sudhakar Karlapudi says they’re seeing younger patients now, with the majority unvaccinated people in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.
