BELLINGHAM, Wash. — After 9-years as the premier geek soap maker in Bellingham, and nationwide influencer, DigitalSoaps is closing its doors.

Owner and creator Chrystal Doucette says while she’ll miss the store, she’s excited to take her skills and help other companies with development and marketing.

In 2009, Doucette began creating soaps shaped like video game controllers and in 2015 signed a licensing agreement with SEGA.

Her soaps honoring video game and anime characters, including her most popular 3D Pokeball Soap, were sold in stores throughout the U-S and guided the direction of novelty soaps for this niche market.

The Bellingham store’s last day is May 1st, and there is currently a closeout sale on DigitalSoaps’ website.
