BELLINGHAM, Wash. — So far, the coronavirus pandemic does not seem to be affecting local home prices.
According to Troy Muljat of Muljat Group Realtors, the median sales price of a Whatcom County home rose 9.1% to $420,000 in the first quarter of 2020, but the economic impact of COVID-19 remains to be seen.
Muljat said the true test will be the next three months.
As home sales continue, he says he’s optimistic.
