WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – You have an opportunity to safely get rid of unused prescription drugs this Saturday, April 30th.
The DEA is holding its semi-annual Drug Take Back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Drop-off locations are at the Bellingham Police Department and with the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Department at the Kendall Library.
Police Departments in Anacortes, Burlington, Sedro-Woolley, Port Townsend and Sequim will also be participating.
The goal is to keep unneeded prescription medications from being misused or disposed of improperly.
