BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Several local organization helping families impacted by COVID-19 have been awarded grants by Puget Sound Energy for new solar installations.
Among the 10 recipients are Kulshan Land Trust, Lummi Nation Housing Authority, Lydia Place, the Opportunity Council and the Anacortes Housing Authority.
PSE says the new solar installations will save nearly 240,000 kilowatt-hours and will reduce operating costs for recipient organizations while producing green energy.
