BELLINGHAM, Wash. — One of Bellingham’s favorite local theater is returning to its roots, offering the full movie theater experience.
After 8 months with closed doors, Mount Baker Theatre is opening for a holiday classic film series kicking off with a screening of Miracle on 34th Street the day after Thanksgiving.
They’ll play a different holiday movie every Friday at 7:00pm from November 27 to December 25 with a grand finale on New Year’s Eve that will be a fundraiser for their “Countdown to Curtain” campaign.
Showings will operate at less than 25% capacity to ensure social distancing, with other safety guidelines in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
