BOW, Wash. — The main trail to the Oyster Dome will be closed on weekdays beginning Monday, July 23rd.
The Department of Natural Resources says the weekday closure of the Samish Bay Trail is for the safety of hikers due to logging operations and will last for at least three weeks.
The trail will be open on weekends.

The DNR says the logging is not being done in the area of Blanchard Mountain known as the Core.
