FERNDALE, Wash. — The Lummi Nation is opening up their COVID-19 mass vaccination event this Saturday to staff members in the Ferndale School District.
Lummi Communications announced that the clinic will take place at the Silver Reef Casino from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
It is not open to the general public, but the Lummi Nation will open vaccinations to all household members of Lummi Indian Business Council employees as well as all of the nearly 650 Ferndale School District staff members.
They hope this will help the district get one step closer to bringing kids back to the classroom full time.
