BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Lummi Nation has reverted to increased COVID-19 restrictions.

A Tuesday release says the Lummi Indian Business Council approved a shelter-in-place order for the community through January 12th.

Lummi Public Health said the restrictions were necessary to control coronavirus spread over the holidays.

The order prohibits indoor gatherings, while limiting outdoor gatherings to 5 or less people outside the household.
