Lummi Public Health advises public not to travel outside Whatcom County

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Lummi Public Health is recommending residents cancel their plans to travel outside Whatcom County.

Lummi Communications posted on Facebook those who do travel outside of the county should consider self-quarantine for up to 14 days.

They say the reason behind these strong recommendations is they have seen cases within the Lummi community where people who travel outside of the county return with symptoms of COVID-19 and possibly infect others.
