BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Lummi Tribal Health reports progress in getting members vaccinated.
Tribal Health announced on their Facebook page that 10% of the Lummi community has received their first dose and 300 people have received both doses.
They expect to have enough vaccine to cover all elders 55 and over by the end of this week.
Tribal members have received 92% of the vaccines while health care workers, law enforcement officers and other front line Lummi Nation staff have received the rest.
The tribe will hold several mass vaccination clinics for members this week.
