BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Lummi woman who pleaded guilty to gun and drug crimes earlier this year faces three years in prison.
The DOJ reports 30-year-old Amber Mendoza, aka Crystal Carter, aka Jasmine Garcia, was sentenced Friday for being a felon in possession of a firearm and distribution of methamphetamine.
According to court records, law enforcement made two separate undercover buys of heroin and meth from Mendoza and the heroin she sold contained traces of fentanyl.
Tulalip Tribal Police served a search warrant of her home and found multiple firearms, including one that had been reported stolen.
