This week’s new Associated Press high school football state rankings are out and Whatcom County has a pair of teams up at #2.
In Class 2A the Lynden Lions are 2nd. They beat #3 Archbishop Murphy last week. The Lions trail only unanimous #1 Tumwater. In Class 1A Mount Baker is #2. The Mountaineers received 3 first-place votes. Royal is on top of the single-A poll.
Also in 1A Lynden Christian checks in at #5.
