LYNDEN, Wash. — Officials in Lynden are not canceling summer events… yet.
Gary Vis, Executive Director of the Lynden Chamber of Commerce in a Facebook post said the chamber is taking a wait-and-see approach.
The county health department recently recommended summer 2020 event cancellations to prevent the spread of COVID-19 locally, but Vis says the Lynden Chamber will wait until closer to the actual event dates to make those decisions.
Though he does say they will err on the side of caution.
